Adult Bible Study
These classes are held on Monday morning and evening using approved sources and inviting parishioners to a deeper understanding of scripture. Other Bible study groups are offered periodically throughout the year.

Adult Confirmation Preparation
For adults baptized and brought up in the Catholic faith and wishing to be confirmed, this program offers preparation for Confirmation at the Easter Vigil each year. Adult Confirmation candidates will need to take Basic Catholicism for the fall semester, September to December. Registration is required but no fee is asked for this program. Basic Catholicism
This course is offered during the Fall sememster. The course will cover the Catechism of the Catholic Church and is designed for those preparing for Adult Confirmation as well as those who wish to learn more about their faith. Contact Barbara Scott for dates and times.

Finance Stewardship Workshop
This class is designed to help couples set up and manage their household finances with Stewardship in mind. Contact Barbara Scott, for upcoming dates.

F.I.R.E. (Females Inspired, Renewed, and Energized)
This group hopes to renew the spiritual bonds between women of all ages and walks of life by praying, faith-sharing, and working together. This group sponsors retreats and/or guest speakers periodically throughout the year. Contact Barbara Scott for more information.
March for Life
Join many youth and adults from across the country as they converge on Washington D.C. to speak out against abortion. This march takes place near the anniversary of the Roe vs. Wade decision that made abortion legal.

Marriage Classes
For those preparing for marriage or those wishing to renew their marriage commitment, this class explores Catholic marriage through the Rite of Marriage. Everything we need to know is found in the Rite. We will look at what we say “yes” to when we celebrate the Sacrament of Marriage. Contact Barbara Scott for upcoming dates.

Men of Emmaus
Men of the parish meet every Saturday morning in a small group format to renew their faith and grow in Spirit. Contact Jerry Campbell, 531-8475 for more information.
Men’s/Women’s Retreat
Spend a weekend in quiet, prayer-filled solitude at St. Lazare’s Retreat House. Men of the parish go in February, and women go in July. If interested, please contact Mary Bearss at 530-7011, or Laura Campbell, 531-8475.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults/Children (RCIA/RCIC)
RCIA is the process whereby adults and children over the age of 7 are welcomed into the Catholic Church through the sacraments of baptism, confirmation, and Eucharist. Those already baptized in another Christian tradition will prepare for full communion in the Catholic faith. The process involves the periods of Inquiry, Catechumenate, the Period of Purification and Enlightenment, and Mystagogia over the typical course of a year.
